CTG's bus station is moved

Bahaddarhat bus station of the city of Chittagong will be moved temporarily bridge on the north part of the 3rd Karnaphuli on Friday, to the relief of traffic congestion in the city.

On Wednesday Chittagong development authority, Chittagong metropolitan police and Bahaddarhat bus terminal Executive Committee of how of the shift that has station by the year 2013 a memorandum was signed.

CDA President of Abdus Salam said, that Kalpalok residential area on the north side of the 3rd Karnaphuli bridge was elected, be removed to the temporary bus station.

He also said that the site was now under construction.

He expressed his hope that the station would reduce shifting traffic to roads travelled to 50 percent in the city.

He said also the buses plying Cox's Bazar and Bandarban routes use the 3rd Karnaphuli bridge, that enter bridge city to leave and the Kalurghat.

Bahaddarhat said bus terminal Executive Committee Secretary General Abul Kalam Azad, she decided the terminal as a shift in the construction of Bahaddarhat flight had caused heavy traffic.
