3 of a family killed in road mishap

Three members of a family were killed as a bus hit their motorbike at Nimtoli Chaltapara in Sirajdikhan upazila Friday morning.

The deceased were Md Sahabuddin,45, hailed from Charfashion upazila of Bhola, his wife Jharna Begum,30 and daughter Bristi Akther,12.

The police said the accident occurred when Sahabuddin was going to Bhola from Dhaka in a motorbike to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha.

Officer-in-charge of Sirajdikhan thana Mahbubur Rahman said the motorbike was totally smashed being hit by a bus at about 5:15am, leaving its three riders dead on the spot.

The police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy.

2 Road accident in Magura killed

At least two people died in a road accident in the village Talkhari of Shalikha in Magura on Tuesday night.

The deceased were identified village Shotokhali Pachkania of Shalikha Shyamnagar and Motiar Rahman, 45, Magura town as Montu Kazi, 50.

Police said that the accident place on about 20: 30 has a human tug up on Arpara-Kaliganj road in the village of Talkhari, so that both the driver and front passenger dead on the spot when overthrown.

On information had gone to the police to the location and facilities at Magura SADAR hospital morgue for autopsy examination.

2 Cylinder explosion in the Cox's Bazaar killed

Two people died in an explosion the wind filled cylinder in Maheshkhali village on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Phillip RAM Dey, 45, inhabitants of the village of Thakurtola of the shortly and Monir Ahmad, 14, son of Ataur Rahman, owner of a vehicle service centre and wind filling stood at Dak bungalow road in Maheshkhali city.

Police said that Ataur filled wind together with Monir in a cylinder with a wind filling machine in his workshop at 14: 30.

All suddenly the cylinder exploded with a bang immediately, to kill Monir and Phillip, a passer-by.

Police said the explosion escaped Ataur, which miraculously unharmed.
